Are You a Potential Volunteer?
We will have many positions available, with both short and long term. Due to the age and history of our victims, diligence is needed in Recruiting and Screening of all potential Volunteers which will include:
- Criminal Background Checks
- National, regional and state database searches including National Sex Offender Registry search
- Finger Printing
- Verification of Social Security number
- Employment
- Professional license
All volunteer applicants will be required to complete an application and provide references. Resumes can also be submitted along with any additional information the applicant would like to provide. Applications will be reviewed by the Recruitment Director and appropriate department head.
Initial Steps:
1. Fill out application Volunteer Application Form
2. Attend volunteer applicant orientation meeting
3. Complete level 1, 2 and 3 of training as appropriate to the tier of services we will provide in training orientation
